Noida International Airport (IATA code: DXN) is a greenfield airport in the NCR region, connecting the greater Delhi area and western Uttar Pradesh with other cities in India and the world. NIA is envisioned as a world-class airport combining Swiss efficiency with Indian hospitality, offering rich experiences and comprehensive mix of commercial attractions. The airport is committed to an ambitious net-zero emissions goal, supported by sustainable design and operational principles. Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL)
YIAPL is the developer, constructor, and operator of Noida International Airport. It is a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG. YIAPL is responsible for implementing this public-private partnership project in close collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India. The concession period for NIA commenced on October 1, 2021, and will run for 40 years.
Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL)
NIAL is the implementing agency on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh is the current Chief Executive Officer of NIAL.
Zurich Airport International AG (ZAIA)
A 100% subsidiary of Flughafen Zurich AG, ZAIA was awarded the 40-year concession to design, develop, and operate NIA in November 2019. Flughafen Zurich AG operates Switzerland’s Zurich Airport and manages airport concessions globally. Mr. Daniel Bircher is the Chairman and MD of Zurich Airport International AG.

- Tribute to UP Traditions: NIA’s overall design is a tribute to India’s cultural heritage, reflecting on the traditions of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
- Locally Sourced Material: The terminal will prominently feature locally sourced red granite.
- Ghats Inspiration: The multi-level terminal structure is designed to evoke the ghats of Haridwar and Varanasi, symbolizing spiritual passage and community gathering.
- Havelis Forecourt: A striking open forecourt is inspired by UP havelis (traditional mansions), serving as a welcoming space blending traditional aesthetics with modern function.
- Interior Adornments: The terminal interior will be adorned with art, handicrafts, and textiles from across the state, creating a vibrant and immersive cultural experience.
- Design Philosophy: The core design philosophy centers on intuitive navigation and emotional comfort.
- Generous Roof Heights: The passenger terminal building at NIA will feature high ceiling areas throughout to contribute to a sense of openness and calm, reducing the feeling of congestion and enhancing spatial comfort.
- Wavy Roofline: The terminal features a distinct wavy roofline, inspired by the fluid motion of regional rivers, adding a dynamic silhouette.
- Open-Air Courtyard: A standout feature is an open-air serene courtyard space just after security control, offering an outdoor seating area where passengers can unwind in fresh air before boarding.
- Lounge Services: The lounges will offer an engaging environment with live interactive food stations, expansive buffets, an experiential cocktail bar, and spa services designed for ultimate relaxation.

Maintenance & Repair Overhaul
- Over 40 acres of area earmarked for the development of world-class Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities.
- NIA and Akasa Air have announced a strategic partnership to establish Akasa Air’s first MRO facility at the airport. Under this agreement, Akasa Air will operate a state-of-the-art facility within the airport premises, supporting a broad spectrum of aircraft maintenance activities and ensuring high standards of operational efficiency and safety.
