Lt Gen A B Shivane
Lieutenant General A B Shivane, is the former Strike Corps Commander and Director General of Mechanised Forces. As a scholar warrior, he has authored over 200 publications on national security and matters defence, besides four books and is an internationally renowned keynote speaker. The General was a Consultant to the Ministry of Defence (Ordnance Factory Board) post-superannuation. He was the Distinguished Fellow and held COAS Chair of Excellence at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies 2021 2022. He is also the Senior Advisor Board Member to several organisations and Think Tanks.

Maj Gen Jagatbir Singh
Major General Jagatbir Singh VSM, (Retd), has held various command, staff and instructional appointments and served in varied terrains in the country. He has served in a United Nations Peace Keeping Mission as a Military Observer in Iraq and Kuwait. He has been an instructor to Indian Military Academy and the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He has commanded the prestigious 1 Armoured Division. He is a prolific writer in defence& national security and is a Distinguished Fellow at USI.
Kamal Malhotra
Kamal Malhotra is Distinguished Visiting Professor at the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at TEPAV, The Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey. He was a Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Boston University between 2022-2025.
Mr Malhotra retired from the United Nations in September 2021 after a rich career including as its Head and Representative of the Secretary General in Vietnam, Turkiye and Malaysia. He was UNDPs Senior Adviser on Inclusive Globalization prior to that. Other positions held include Director, Overseas and Aboriginal Programme, OXFAM Australia and Director, International Institute of Rural Reconstruction, Philippines. Mr Malhotra also co-founded and co-directed Focus on the Global South.

Lt Gen Tarun Chawla
Lt Gen Tarun Chawla, was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in Jun 1984. He has served with the United Nations Mission in Liberia and has been an instructor at the College of Defence Management at Secunderabad. The officer has commanded an Artillery Brigade in the LC Sector in J&K, and an Artillery Division as part of Army’s Western Command. He was the Director General Financial Planning, prior to assuming the role of Director General of Artillery.
Maj Gen VK Singh
Maj Gen VK Singh, VSM was commissioned into The Scinde Horse in Dec 1983. The officer has commanded an Independent Recce Sqn in the desert sector, and has the distinction of being the first Armoured Corps Officer to command an Assam Rifles Battalion in Counter Insurgency Operations in Manipur and Nagaland, as well as the first General Cadre Officer to command a Strategic Forces Brigade. He then commanded 12 Infantry Division (RAPID) in Western Sector. The General is a fourth generation army officer.
